This print of my painting Aphrodite is available in four sizes, with or without a white border.

It is reproduced on Hahnemühle Photo Rag®, 308 gsm, 100% cotton, museum standard, archival art paper.

The shimmering form of Aphrodite was rendered by the meticulous, manual application of many thousands of white ink dots against a deep black background and sensualised with rich, evocative splashes of scarlet.

This artwork is part of my Muses collection of semi-abstract paintings, which is inspired by the stories, and my imaginings, of goddesses and other deities from Greek mythology.

Aphrodite is of course the very well known ancient Greek goddess of love and beauty (named as Venus by the Romans). I felt she was the most appropriate deity to associate with this piece because of the sensual curves of the figure.
